Melil13 8 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) Does a Psyker gain the range benefits and negatives on his Psychic Blasts and Barrages? Aims? For instance if they are within 5 meters does he gain +30 on his check?Can someone give me an example of using smite? The benefit is that while you don't profit from short range, you also don't get penalties for stuff like small enemies or poor visibility. If you can see your enemy at all and he's within range, you get to roll your standard +0 test. And if you succeed on that test, you hit him. Additionally, should you ever fight against enemies with the Daemonic trait (which increases their Toughness Bonus by a certain amount), you get to ignore it. (Also, 1d10+Psy Pen4 is quite a bit better than a lasgun as soon as you rise your psy rating somewhat - 1d10+6 Pen4 is about boltgun level, only without lugging 7 kilos of metal around everywhere) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
