Running through March, these prestigious local tournaments are your first chance to test the waters of the 2014 tournament calendar, meet other local players, vie for bragging rights, and compete for cool, exclusive prizes. Battleground is one of just a few stores in the region hosting events. Be sure to join us! Format: Standard, as outlined here. The tournaments will follow the standard Fantasy Flight tournament rules. Each round will last 65 minutes. The number of rounds will be based on turnout. There will not be a cut followed by single elimination rounds. Swiss pairings (each player will play in every round if they would like, barring byes). Each player must bring 1 Corporation and 1 Runner deck in accordance with the Deck Restriction rules found here (page 2). Prizes will look like: Champion: Store Championship Plaque; Deck Box; first place certificate worth a first round bye at one of the 2014 Regional Championships. Runner Up: Deck Box Top 4: Custom "Top 4" playmat Everyone: Alternate art cards with full-bleed graphic design (for the first 32 players). Additional prizes may be awarded based on turnout.
