Forensicus 883 Posted February 8, 2014 Hi there, just wanted to share my updated Engine Glow solution for the Millenium Falcon. I bought some reflective adhesive tape (used by fish angling stuff I think) and then applied a very thinned light blue on the edges of the exhaust area which REALLY makes it pop and actually makes the reflected light from the reflective tape.... well reflect I guess And I've just done a very crude thinned Nüln Oil wash on the hull to make it look a bit more gritty 2 FriendFive and BattlePriest reacted to this

Millennium Falsehood 1,680 Posted February 9, 2014 Can you take a pic of the engines dead-on? It's hard to see what the engine actually looks like. 1 Forensicus reacted to this
Forensicus 883 Posted February 9, 2014 Can you take a pic of the engines dead-on? It's hard to see what the engine actually looks like. Before the light blue "wash": With the "wash": And in purple LED lighting (Philips Hue): The actual adhesive tape is in 2 different clours: dark blue and light blue. I simply cut a strip of the dark blue in the width of the exhaust area and then stuck a thinner strip of the light blue in the middle of the first strip.Done :-)
