Anyone else think of some gnarly stuff?

Phantom + cloak+ advanced cloak/stealth device + recon specialist + might as well throw sensor jammer on there.

Defender + stealth + jammer + thier new maneuver that probably grants an evade token. Oh... And they can take PTL too.

Rebel {scum}-

Wedge + new R7 = owww. Engine upgrade at 2pts cheaper for him and you could still take PTL for "3" actions a turn. Most rebels get suddenly better with him. Moreso with an EPT to boot!

Etahn Abat + PTL + sheild upgrade + R2D2 and 5 bandit squad or 4 + missiles.

If the E-Wings dial is like an A-Wings dial, the R2-D2 will regenerate an insane amount of shields.  I go 5 straight and regen a shield.

 

R7-T1 + Dutch = Lock + a boost without needing an engine upgrade on Dutch.  

 

Pulse Missiles on the bombers.  You lock on target shoot the missile.  The missile doesn't require you to spend the Lock.  Next turn move up and drop an Advance Proton Torpedo with a focus.  Seems pretty good.

R7-T1 and Dutch was one I was playing with too. Him and Garven passing out freebies to Bandits is gonna hurt.

Give an Elite E wing pilot PTL plus R2D2 and if it really has an AWings dial thats 2 actions and a shield every turn whilst still maneuvering effectively. Throw in Advanced sensors to make sure and its just crazy, might cost as much as a YT but it could turn out harder to kill.

Personally this looks fun

 

Ten Nunb w/Marksmanship + Etahn A'baht. Expensive, yes. But laugh in the face of PTL + Stealth TIEs.

 

I'm also liking the idea of Kyle Katarn being a Focus factory for Z-95's and their Missiles.

E-Wing, R2-F2, Stealth Device, Sensor Jammer. Maybe PTL for extra action.

Hard to take down.

Tie Phantom with FCS and Gunner.

Works on a shuttle. Should work on a Phantom.

How about 4 PS2 tie bombers with Ion Pulse, Cluster Missiles, and Seismic charges?

 

First hit up to 4 enemy ships at range 3 with the ion pulse.

 

Next go 1 forward to get in range 1-2 to do your cluster missiles.

 

Finally fly past them dropping your seismic charges as they go 1 forward for the second time right into them.  Of course at this point you're probably down a bomber or 2 after two rounds of attack, but still a couple seismic charges can do some good damage.
