VanorDM 11,599 Posted February 7, 2014 Thanks! To be honest the E-Wing and Tie Phantom are a bit of a shock, but very cool news still the same 1 DraconPyrothayan reacted to this

The Imperial Rebel 202 Posted February 7, 2014 So unexpected! With the big ships i thought that we would not see them for quite a while but 2Q 2014? Cross are fingers for it not to get pushed back!

VanorDM 11,599 Posted February 7, 2014 ooooh 12 point z-95, guess that means I'll be spending a fair amount of money on wave 4. 2 Devon Greatwolf and RookiePilot reacted to this
Danthrax 1,693 Posted February 7, 2014 Holy crap this came out of nowhere They say quarter two, but I'm sure that means "not until GenCon," haha. I can't believe they actually went through with the TIE Phantom. The others I could see. The Phantom, though? It's only from one game. I'm cool with it, just very surprised. I hope this doesn't mean they've skipped the Avenger, though ... that was my favorite ship in TIE Fighter. =\ 4 Devon Greatwolf, PenguinBonaparte, DraconPyrothayan and 1 other reacted to this
Tervlon 636 Posted February 7, 2014 Whoa. The E-Wing has me seriously surprised. Its an expensive monster. Glad they went with that version of the TIE Defender. And so excited for the Z-95!

progressions 2,180 Posted February 7, 2014 What do y'all think the details of the TIE Phantoms Cloak action will be? I can't make out the card.
spindown 9 Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Very interesting, I was curious to see what they would do after running out of ships from the movies. I was expecting to see the Z-95 and the TIE Defender, but the E-Wing and the TIE Phantom are a bit of a surprise. I'm very glad that they didn't include any ships from the prequels. VanorDM 11,599 Posted February 7, 2014 Whoa. The E-Wing has me seriously surprised. Its an expensive monster. Yeah at 32 points for a PS5... I don't know if you could manage 4 of them in a list, unless the lower PS pilots are a Lot cheaper point wise.

VanorDM 11,599 Posted February 7, 2014 I can't believe they actually went through with the TIE Phantom. With 4 attack and Cloak... I think the Phantom can really change up the meta a lot. 2 Viceroy Bolda and phild0 reacted to this

newmagrathea 124 Posted February 7, 2014 The TIE Defender is a beast with 3 attack, 3 evade, 3 shields and 3 hull. That's gonna put the hurt on some rebels.
Joker Two 635 Posted February 7, 2014 Well, now we know! I'm surprised by the direction they went with some of those, but definitely pleased!
GlobeTrotting 205 Posted February 7, 2014 So if I want to field squads of nothing but the new ships, I'll need: Eight Z-95s Three TIE Defenders Three E-wings Four TIE Phantoms Any disagree? Z-95s are going to make this an expensive wave! 2 Filthy Pierre and Audio Weasel reacted to this
Danthrax 1,693 Posted February 7, 2014 27 points for the PS1 E-Wing, hahahaha, insane Looks like it comes with the new Flechette Torpedoes that also come in the Rebel Transport. I wonder what they mean by "The TIE defender is a straight-forward fighter with strong shields, weapons, agility, and a maneuver never before seen on a dial."
VanorDM 11,599 Posted February 7, 2014 Is it just me or does the TD have a Green straight 5 showing on the dial? Also can anyone make out what the other rule card with the Z95 is? Like the ion pulse missile in concept but wonder how useful it really will be. That said, 5 Z95's with conc missiles, or assault missiles makes for one heck of a alpha. Really love that the E-Wing comes with advanced sensors.

GlobeTrotting 205 Posted February 7, 2014 A one K-turn is my best guess, unless it's some kind of curved K-turn. 27 points for the PS1 E-Wing, hahahaha, insane Looks like it comes with the new Flechette Torpedoes that also come in the Rebel Transport.
