Spaceresearcher 7 Posted September 7, 2013 Hello fellow TI fans and hopefully Fantasy Flight Games staff, While trowling the internet searching for alternate scenarios and additions that fans have made for TI to spice up games, I couldn't help wondering about the interesting expansions that came out for previous editions. Would it be possible for the past expansions to be adapted to the new 3rd edition of TI? Why? Well let me just let you all know that when ever a TI expansion has come out for the game, the enthusiasm amongst existing players is rekindled while at the same time ushering in new players as well. Essentially a lot of players would love a new expansion or series of smaller expansions of that's more manageable and thought what better way of doing it than to adapt the previous expansions of the past for the current generation of TI. Here were the expansions for the other 2 editions 1ST Edition Boarderlands Twilight Armada Distant Suns The Outer Rim 2ND Edtion Hopes End Thoughts fellow fans and game designers? Steve-O 473 Posted September 8, 2013 IIRC, most if not all of the content from past edition's expansions was included in TI3's core. The only exception I can think of off the top of my head are Shock Troops, which came back in Shattered Empire.
Spaceresearcher 7 Posted September 14, 2013 So it's time for some NEW expansions then. Having not had the good fortune to pick up the older editions (first owned set was Third Edition and a magnificient set it is too), it's good to know that third edition players are not missing out.
