Top 3 living card games!

Recommended Posts

If I had to rank today I would go with:

1.  Call of Cthulhu

2.  Netrunner

3.  Star Wars

However, I am hoping that a new LCG is announced at Gencon in a few days that might make the list...  Star Wars is still really too young to tell for sure, so its place is somewhat speculative.

WH:I

LOTR

I've sen aGoT played, but have not done so myself. CoC, Star Wars, & Netrunner I am familiar with but haven't played. LOTR is really only fun for me b/c of the solo play aspect. I much rather play heads up than with someone though. the VAST majority of the time I play by myself (like 99%) it's testing new WH:I decks over LOTR.

1. Star Wars

2. ANR

3. TBD

Star Wars takes top spot because I've grown up in a household that has been watching Star Wars since the premiere showing of A New Hope. ANR is really fun to me but it definitely takes second place because 1. It's not Star Wars, 2. I don't have it and 3. I'm better at Star Wars. Those are the only 2 LCG's I have played.

As someone who has never really played any of these, which of these listed would you guys recommend to start with?  All of them sound fun :3

Whichever one you like based on its theme, mechanics, and availability of local opponents.  Really, that's about as specific as we can provide without more information on what you want.

I would recommend them on the following:

More strategical and longer: Game of Thrones Card Game

More fast and some strategy but less thinking: War hammer Invasion
