Sothis2 0 Posted March 22, 2009 I know I'm stupid, but someone help me out here. How do you post images of custom stuff? When I click "Insert/Edit Image", the preview is a bunch of crazy text like this: "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing..." Then if I put something from photobucket or tinypic into the URL field, a blank box appears in the preview along with the crazy text (and no image shows up when publishing). Someone please explain this to me like I'm a 2 year old! Thanks
dkw 9 Posted March 22, 2009 Step 1: Export the Picture from Strange Eons (if you are using it otherwise ignore this step) using the "Post to the Web" option: otherwise the picture will be too big for the Forum Step 2: Upload it to your favorite server. I use Photobucket without problems, so I will explain for Photobucket, make sure you have Photobucket Scaleing to 800 x 600 (default upload setting). Step 3: Save Image and Return to your Album. Step 4: Select your image in your Album. Step 5: Look for the box labeled "Direct Link" and copy that URL. Step 6: Begin posting on these Forums. Step 7: Click on Insert/Edit Image Button. Step 8: Paste the URL you copied in Step 5 to the URL box and click OK. Step 9: Click the "Publish" button on these Forums.
Sothis2 0 Posted March 23, 2009 Ah, I wasn't exporting the "for the web" version so the file was too large. Thanks!
