Drafting plans for this bad boy Vigil class corvette.

I plan on building one whenever I get finished with my Nebulon-B.  I look forward to watching your progress on your build.

What length are you going to do it at? I don't know how official the Wookiepedia entry is. I would probably go with about a 1/3 again over the length of the CR-90, to give it decent playability. which would put it around 200m.

Er.. Boomer_J is speechless apparently. oh.. nope he wrote inside the Quote :)

That would be awesome TRamsey. I have it as a flat board that occupies the playing field.

FFG needs to have some sort of imperial ship for Epic tournament play. There is some speculation that this may be it. And by speculation I mean me :).

I am willing to make a bet that FFG IS going to make this ship because they know what we know and they have a 15 to 20 inch gameable scale they have already demonstrated they will use with their Blockade Runner.

My Imps will get Modified Frigates/Corvettes because I do not want to build what FFG is probably going to make. The Kenner Corvette I own now is already being converted into a new ship...in my head at least...for now.

T-Rammer what size are you making this **** thing? My versions of this ship are going to be small.

Lol, this ones on my plans too, seems I was mistakingly calling it a gunship, will be sticking to my usable scale of around 50cm. Looks like the empire may be expanding on all fronts!

HOW DARE YOU...UH, TOO!!!!!!!

SOooo, who among us is going to make a medium freighter (a little larger than a Falcon) sized version of this...just me?

from wookiepedia:

For those who don't have supreme model making abilities but have access to a large printer. I tried printing it out on 27 x 22 (I know 27 but not sure about 22) but an error printed it at 23 inches. 37 inches may be too big for the table so you may want to try 1/300 for the "fits right" scale.

It's still dang impressive on the field due to being much wider than the CR90.. though I think the ratio might be slightly out on that photo, it looks a touch too fat to me.

He got it right. or my pictures of this ship are wrong too...

It's just relative to the other photo, the Wing segments look like they come out to far, so I wondered if the image had got skewed a bit when he was resizing it. might just be perspective.
