house rules for unplayable hand

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone else has ever run into the problem of at some point during the game a player will get a handful of cards that are unplayable at that time. For example having two treasure chests, a great dragon, and two fire drakes while all of these places on the map already have cards holding their spot. Since the rules state that a player must always play a card we have decided that the best thing to do is to just put your entire hand on the bottom of your deck and draw 5 more (or 6 if you have the dragon piece), and then play what you can, draw phase, and end turn. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and what was their solution.
