Netrunner: The Cyborg RAT League - "The Game", Sofia, Bulgaria

Aiming to offer high level organized play not only to our MTG players, but also to the LCG lovers, The Game's second multi-round league (first one was AGOT LCG 6 round league held in May/June) is for the Android: Netrunner players a chance to participate in a the first large scale Netrunner tournament in Bulgaria - The Cyborg RAT League.

All participants will receive  a Melange Mining Corp. card and a chance winning some great rewards as well - from store credit for each round's winners and the FFG's Game Night Kit rewards (acryllic tokens and Crypsis promo card) for the TOP4, to an Android Free Fall novel copy and the grand prize for thqe league top player - a MadCatz Cyborg R.A.T. gaming mouse.

 

When?

The Cyborg RAT League will start on June 23rd (12 am local time, GMT+2) and will consist of 5 rounds held during the next weekends with the exception of July 13-14th). The next date and exact time will be decided with players, so please check the club Calendar for updated information.

• Round 1: June 23, 12 am local time
• Round 2: June 29/30
• Round 3: July 6/7
• Round 4: July 20/21
• Round 5 & 4-player Final: July 27/28

 

Where?

Gaming club "The Game" is at 75, Krum Popov str. in Sofia, Bulgaria and it's probably the county's largest gaming club with about 70 seats and a shoping area (online shop as well @ BoardGames.BG). It is conveniently located in the busy Lozenets residential area near the European Union subway station and the CSS mall. The club is within a 5 minutes walk from the National Palace of Culture (NDK) and near town's central part, and has great public transport connectivity.

 

How to participate?

You can enter the League anytime in the 5 rounds, but please keep in mind that we will look at the 4 best player's results from each round, so the later you jump in, the lesser chance of qualifying for the finals you have. Entry fees:

• 5.00 € to enter the league (optional, qualifies for the finals and most rewards, each participants gets Melange Mining Corp.)
• 2.50 € fee for each of the 5 rounds (with separate store credit rewards and a chance to win an Android Free Fall novel)

 

How many players will be there?

Our current estimation is 12 to 14 players, but there might be more in the subsequent rounds or in the first round day.

Small update: we will add two custom Corp playmats to some of the rounds prizes - these will be issued at random though.

The next (and much shorter) league will start on August 10-11.
