To buy the beginner box or wait for the core book?

I wanted to know if I should buy the beginner box or wait and get the core bool when it comes out?

Get the beginner box! There are (at least) three reasons to pick it up separately from the core book:

1. The intro adventure does an amazing job of teaching new players the game.

2. The box provides rules for continuous gaming beyond the published adventure, provided you use the pregens.

3. You get thegame dice, which are a $15 value right there.

I got this for a buddy as a birthday present. After he ran it for us and I saw the quality of the product, I had to pick one up for myself. I hope to run a game for my younger siblings later this week. They've never done an RPG before, but I think they will like this.

I picked up the last Beginner's Box when I went in to get the free adventure yesterday.  The dice alone pay for half the box really.  And this is THE best introduction to RPG I have seen put together for a game.  The two friends I ran the intro with were really impressed, even though we are all experienced gamers.  Highly recommend picking it up if you can spare the coin.
