flightmaster101 1,568 Posted June 5, 2013 I play Sith Control, but lately (since a dark time came out) I have been getting my rear handed to me on OCTGN as DS. I can still hold my own with Hanx2 Yoda x2 Luke x2 Yavinx2 and Old ben's spirit x2 on the light side, but my sith got controled and blasted from the get go. I was using fallx2 hote x2 web x2 cruel x1 recon x1 counsel x1 which was giving me rescources for a turn 1 palp/ vader/ fleet and i would play defense and run out the clock from there. I tried switching recon x1 with serve x1 and that didnt fix anything. It just seemed to me that the new LS tanks are able to lock down my units and my sith deck doesnt do vehicles well. So to combat vehicles i went to an imperial "swarm" which was colonel stark x2 endor x2 vader x2 motti x2 and tarkin x2. Big fail vs jedi control (message x1 yavin x1 luke x2 obi wan x2 yoda x2 self pres x2). But did ok vs smugglers & rebel vehicles since it was a puch for punch kind of deck. Then I was getting increasingly desperate and went with a scum/sith deck of web x1 recon x1 counsel x2 jabbas orders x2 boba x2 get solo x2. Big fail vs vehicle decks, havent played the guy w/ jedi deck yet. These new smugglers and jedi pods in dark time have thrown me for a loop! Any advice on how I can get a better DS deck? I'm running out of time until regionals! things in the works: jabbas orders x1 get solo x2 kuat x1 defense prot x2 take them prisoner x2 and devestator x2 and devistator x2 shadows on ice x1 fall x2 counsel x1 emperor x2 killing cold x2 or maybe I'm just a terrible player, also a possibility. Thanks for any help.
Hida77 951 Posted June 7, 2013 Nope, DS is fine. LS has caught up a bit since Core, but a well-played Sith deck still dominates multiple phases of the game. Id recommend re-evaluating your deck and how you are playing it. I'd suggest the following build: Navy 2xFall ot Jedi 2xCounsel 2xEmps Web 1xImperial Command 2xKilling Cold 1xShadows on the Ice I have been winning north of 80% of my games with this deck. Its beatable for sure, but most people will make mistakes against it and thus get locked into a loss.

I can do agro/control of light side, but the defensive control of the DS kind of illudes me. Maybe I just need a coach.
