Austin, TX Regional - Saturday, May 11th - Dragon's Lair

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Austin’s Second Regional of the Season will be held on Saturday May 11th at the newly expanded Dragon’s Lair!

Check-in will begin at noon, with the tournament starting at 1:00pm. You will want to eat lunch before you arrive as there will be no breaks until the Swiss rounds are completed. We will have five timed Swiss rounds (random pairing for the first round). Once the five rounds are complete, we will break for dinner and then come back for the Top 4 matches (or Top 8 if we have 24 or more participants). THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE (yes, that’s right, entry is free for all participants – it’s the Dragon’s Lair way – they don’t charge for tournament admission).

You will need to fill out a deck list or bring one with you (we will accept print outs, of course).

Currently, Google Maps has the right address for Dragon’s Lair, but it puts the store in the wrong location. So, I’ve taken the liberty of creating a specific link designed to get you there if you’re coming from out of town. The map point for the entrance to the shopping center where Dragon’s Lair is located is here. I intentionally used the satellite version. Dragon’s Lair is to the left of the entrance left of what is labeled “Sun & Ski Sports” on the picture.
