Mirror Computing and Victory Conditions

Can the Mentat mirror computing ability be used to double the value of trade goods and  be applied to the Stage 2 public objectives like I now spend 20 resource, I now spend 20 influence, or I now spend 12 trade goods?

Or Stage 1 objectives like I now spend 10 influence, I now spend 10 resources, or I now spend 6 trade goods?

The "Mirror Computing" Mentak racial technology allows you to spend 1 trade good as 2 resources or 2 influence, as a result, you can spend 5 trade goods to qualify for a public objective that requires you to spend 10 resources, or 10 influence, it also allows you to spend 10 trade goods to qualify for a public objective that requires you to spend 20 resources, or 20 influence. However, in order to qualify for a public objective that requires you to spend 10 trade goods, you must still spend exactly 10 trade goods, as the card is not requiring resource or influence, but rather the expendature of a trade good token, so mirror computing will not help you in that regard.
