Tzeechel 2 Posted March 12, 2013 Hello all, just popping in here to announce the Android: Netrunner League. It will be at the same time and place as the Thursday night freeplay. Entrance to the 7 week league is $10 and comes with an alternate art Melange Mining Corporation. At the end of the each game night your wins/losses against other league members will be recorded and the players with the best records will receive prizes at the end of the league. This is great prep for the Regionals as well, so come on out and run! Tzeechel 2 Posted March 15, 2013 No worries at all, hopefully we'll see you next week though. The first League night was a huge sucess and the Baltimore City Grid was alight with flash of flatlining runners and their exploding apartments. We had 8 players show (plus 2 runners in the back who chose to play X-wing instead, but to each his own), and the runs lasted long into the night. When I left at 9:15, there was another game just starting and 4 runners in the store. Our league ranking system was explained, and the shop ran out of Data packs again… but I have been reassured that more are on the way and that they will be fully restocked for next week (Hopefully with AsiS on the shelves too). Some players made some significant headway in league ranking for the first day out, others, such as myself who fumbled and failed score agendas, did not. There is plenty of play days left to makeup for losses and lost time though, so don't stress over it.
