Jinteki: Replicating Perfection vs. Bullfrog

Recommended Posts

Not that it matters quite yet, but I was wondering how these two will interact.  Will a run that starts on HQ and gets Bullfrogged away still fulfil the requirement to run on a central server?

Since Replicating Perfection doesn't require the runner to finish the run successfully, I would assume the initiation of the run against a central server is enough. But it could probably also be argued that you need to still be running on that server when you end the run (e.g. voluntarily after the first piece of ice). If you got moved by a Bullfrog as the first ice, maybe that would mess with the condition. I still feel only the initiation matters, though, but you might want to send this in to Lukas for clarification (via the "Rules Questions" link at the very bottom of the page).

Starting a run on a central server is sufficient to satisfy the Jinteki identity, regardless if the run finishes on a remote. The identity makes no condition on the result of that run.
