rdokter 0 Posted March 5, 2009 Hi All, I bought Starcraft a while ago. I had not the time to play because of work, so I opened the box last weekend, I read the rules and started a game, when I checked the plastic figures I was surprised. Some colours had only a couple of figures. This is what I found: Terrans (Blue & Red):Marine: 12 Blue - 0 RedFirebat: 0 Blue - 6 RedGhost: 6 Blue - 0 RedVulture: 6 Blue - 0 RedGoliath: 0 Blue - 6 RedSiege Tank: 6 Blue - 0 RedWraith: 6 Blue - 0 RedScience Vessel: 6 Blue - 0 RedBattlecruiser: 6 Blue - 0 Red Protoss (Orange & Yellow):Zealot: 0 Orange - 12 YellowDragoon: 0 Orange - 6 YellowHigh Templar: 6 Orange - 0 YellowReaver: 6 Orange - 0 YellowArchon: 6 Orange - 0 YellowScout: 0 Orange - 6 YellowArbiter: 6 Orange - 0 YellowCarrier: 0 Orange - 6 Yellow Zerg (Purple & Green):Zergling: 18 Purple - 0 GreenHydralisk: 12 Purple - 0 GreenUltralisk: 0 Purple - 6 GreenQueen: 0 Purple - 6 GreenDefiler: 6 Purple - 0 GreenScourge: 0 Purple - 6 GreenMutalisk: 6 Purple - 0 GreenGuardian: 6 Purple - 0 Green When playing it's very difficult to keep track of your own units this way, because you have to mix the colour figures. I send a email last Sunday to FFG, but no responce yet. Are there more people with this problem? And how is the Customer Service at FFG? RedMageStatscowski 117 Posted March 5, 2009 Ouuuuch, it's like all Zerglings decide to follow one of the zergs, all Siege Tanks decide to follow only one Terran side and *gasp* all Archons favor only one Protoss side. What I'd do is buy some paint, and paint the right number of models on the correct paint. But if you don't feel like painting, just contact FFG, they're legends at customer service. Railarian 0 Posted March 5, 2009 That is very weird I've never heard of such a proble before. I would support the paint idea. The funny side is that there's probably another box somewhere in the world that contains your missing pieces and you have the ones it lacks! Good luck
Fizgot 0 Posted March 7, 2009 I dont really like the paint them idea because then it doesnt seem as authentic and new.
ofblack 0 Posted March 10, 2009 Playing with painted miniatures is cool. I've painted only the terran till now and it make the board very nice. Anyway, it requires time and patience to paint them, so i suggest to simply send a request for missing components to the customer care, they are very willing persons. Then, you can always decide to paint them whenever you want.
