Kitties_Outcast 0 Posted February 27, 2009 Good movie, coulda picked a different Bison. But I'm a big Kristin Kreuk fan so I can't complain too much. well JChang to each their own lol...ok here is where the deck stands...i still need help with the attacks as well as a solid foundation line-up...im thinking A New Low would be amazing CHARACTER: .::::Chun-Li::::. ACTIONS (12): Nature's Force x4 -i hate hate hate assets Rejection x4 Tag Along x4 ASSETS (8): Olcadan's Mentoring x4 Seal of Cessation x4 ATTACKS (14): Hoyoku-Sen x4 -amazing card...multiple, reversal, kick, can clear itself Yoko Sen Kyaku x3 -pretty much the same thing, reversal, kick, can clear itself, and it has 3 difficulty and 4 speed Juni's Cannon Spike x3 FOUNDATIONS (25): Aquakinesis x4 -yay drawing, and good stats Chester's Backing x4 Heart of a Fighter x3 -reduces the difficulty of a reversal, good stats, why not Impulsive x4 Natural Leader x3 -momentum for Hoyoku-Sen Program Malfunction x4 The Gorgeous Team x4 TOTAL: 57 including the character (obviously not legal) SIDE DECK: Caught Up in the Moment x4 -after they play a form, I can play it for free, Olcadan's Mentoring for example, and goes with the deck idea Kung-Fu Training x4 -doesn't really need an explanation
Kitties_Outcast 0 Posted February 27, 2009 Also, I would like to make room the The Gorgeous Team and Tag Along
Monkey D. Wolfwood 0 Posted February 27, 2009 I would say Calm and Centred for Tag Along, they would be more help in shutting down annoying character abilities and recurring key cards. Take out Caught up in the moment for another set of foundations and move it into the side board.
Kitties_Outcast 0 Posted February 27, 2009 Ok here is round 2...srill need help on the attacks CHARACTER: .::::Chun-Li::::. -I'm torn between this 1 and ::::Chun-Li::::, but I like this one for the card pool clearing as well as playing stuff on their turn ACTIONS (16): High Tide x4 -yay drawing!! Kung-Fu Training x4 -doesn't really need an explanation Rejection x4 -doesn't really need an explanation Tag Along x4 -doesn't really need an explanation ASSETS (12): Olcadan's Mentoring x4 -doesn't really need an explanation Seal of Cessation x4 -doesn't really need an explanation Sworn Vengeance x4 -mainly to draw up to my hand size on their turn, but a kick if I need it also ATTACKS (12): Double Mittwoch x4 -big kick, good block Hoyoku-Sen x4 -amazing card...multiple, reversal, kick, can clear itself Yoko Sen Kyaku x4 -pretty much the same thing, reversal, kick, can clear itself, and it has 3 difficulty and 4 speed -I'm debating on Lumber Axe, Knee Seduction, Oni Muso, Omnidirectional Cluster Bomb, Yuri's Super Upper, and/or Zart Zap FOUNDATIONS (24): Abducted x4 -good stats, gives me a reversal back Aquakinesis x4 -yay drawing, and good stats Chester's Backing x4 -doesn't really need an explanation Heart of a Fighter x4 -reduces the difficulty of a reversal, good stats, why not Program Malfunction x4 -doesn't really need an explanation The Gorgeous Team x4 -doesn't really need an explanation TOTAL: 65 including the character SIDE DECK: Caught Up in the Moment x4 -after they play a form, I can play it for free, Olcadan's Mentoring for example, and goes with the deck idea ????? x4 -still dont know about this
Monkey D. Wolfwood 0 Posted February 28, 2009 still too much actions for my taste. move KFT into side board to make it a 61 card deck, unless actions are rampant. because you wont need much speed boost of your attacking them on their turn with multiple kicks and a mitwoch. by having 61 cards in the deck you get the key cards you need. just my opinion. Cascade2 0 Posted February 28, 2009 How do you get your Momentum for Hoyoku-Sen? I'd suggest taking out the Sworn Vengeances and putting in a playset of Natural Leaders. Also swap out Yoko Sen Kyaku for Juni's Cannon Spike, since recurring Hoyoku-Sens is fun.

Kitties_Outcast 0 Posted March 5, 2009 OK HERES WHERE IT IS NOW. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. I STILL NEED SOME ANTI-ASSET IDEAS. CHARACTER:.::::Chun-Li::::. ACTIONS (11): High Tide x3 -yay drawing!! Rejection x4 -doesn't really need an explanation Tag Along x4 -doesn't really need an explanation ASSETS (12): Olcadan's Mentoring x4 -doesn't really need an explanation Seal of Cessation x4 -doesn't really need an explanation Sworn Vengeance x4 -to keep my hand size up on their turn ATTACKS (14): Double Mittwoch x4 -big kick, good block Hoyoku-Sen x4 -amazing card...multiple, reversal, kick, can clear itself Yoko Sen Kyaku x3 -pretty much the same thing, reversal, kick, can clear itself, and it has 3 difficulty and 4 speed Juni's Cannon Spike x3-I can recur reversals...amazing lol FOUNDATIONS (25): Abducted x3 -good stats, gives me a reversal back Aquakinesis x4 -yay drawing, and good stats Chester's Backing x4 -doesn't really need an explanation Heart of a Fighter x3 -reduces the difficulty of a reversal, good stats, why not Natural Leader x3 -momentum for Hoyoku-Sen Program Malfunction x4 -doesn't really need an explanation The Gorgeous Team x4 -doesn't really need an explanation TOTAL: 62 including the character SIDE DECK: Caught Up in the Moment x4 -after they play a form, I can play it for free, Olcadan's Mentoring for example, and goes with the deck idea Kung-Fu Training x4 -doesn't really need an explanation
Kitties_Outcast 0 Posted March 5, 2009 Im thinking of dropping the 3 Abducted for 4 Impulsive. I lose a 6 CC for a 5 CC, but Impulsive costs less, gives my reversal a speed bonus, and lets me put it back in my hand if it deals damage. I'll still only have 63 cards in my deck. JChang 0 Posted March 6, 2009 Legend of CRAP........................!! I was kidding about going to see this movie. But my friend insisted and said he wouldn't be a street fighter fan if he didn't see it. and OMG! HORRIBLE.......................! IMO
Wafflecopter2 0 Posted March 6, 2009 Kitties_Outcast said: ACTIONS (11):ASSETS (12):ATTACKS (14):FOUNDATIONS (25): The sheer number of orange and blue cards {that is, cards that don't go to your staging area} in this deck concern me. High Tide, for example, does good things, but you draw up to 7 cards at the start of your turn. High Tide essentially lets you trade a 4+progressive control check, to get a temporary +1 handsize, and it stays in your pool for a while too. The list contains 14 non-split attacks, plus 6 more 3ccs in your asset list; but a majority of your foundations check in at 3 or more difficulty, so you're very likely to have to pass 4 and 5 difficulty CCs on Turn 1, and on every subsequent turn you're pretty likely to need to commit those high-difficulty foundations just to pass a check. I'd suggest cutting Sworn Vengeance {you play it, wait a turn, and then replenish your hand once ... not bad, but not worth it with as many attacks as you have} or alternatively Yoko Sen Kyaku {they're both speedy cheap attacks} in exchange for some low-difficulty foundations -- Battle Prowess, Altered Mind and Body, Familial Loyalty, Selfless Giving, Shooting Capoera, Tenacious, Empire's Ruin, pick 1 . Double Mittwoch would be my next pick to cut -- you simply can't reliably afford an 8-difficulty attack for such a small payoff (I like any attack that costs more than 5 difficulty to have a fundamentally game changing ability, which usually means "This move makes you win the game" like Sardine's Beach Special or Feline Spike), again probably just for a cheap foundation. For an answer to assets, Nature's Force is great. 4/4 action, playable block, OK speed pump ability, and runs on Water.
