Combining Damage Decks?

Recommended Posts

At what size battle would you combine two damage decks together?  Or would you have two separate decks (one per side)?  Just curious because my gaming group of two may be growing quickly.

Would you just count up all the hull points of all the ships and just make sure you have enough damage cards to cover them all?

Let me know what you may have tried or your theory on the matter.

Thanks folks!

everybody brings their own damage decks, any damage sustained by their own ships, they will draw from their own deck

In addition to that, the easiest(?) way to use up your damage deck is to bring 10 vanilla Y-wings to a 180 pt game, and your opponent systematically distributes 4 damage to each of your Y-wings without killing a single one. Even then I think the rulebook says something about using other ways to keep track of the damage, it's just that all [crit] results are treated as normal [hit] results.

As soon as one of the heavily damaged Y-wings go down, you get to have a damage deck you can draw from again.
