Theres 2nd lvl event card, that give U an ability at the beggining og regroup phase to pay 1 mineral and gas and get 1 conquest point . The question is, can I pay multiple times per one regroup phase to get more conquest points?

I'm pretty sure that it's limited to gaining one conquest a turn in this way, though I've checked the faq and haven't found the official ruling. I think the wording is pretty important though,

'You may spend 1 mineral and one gas to gain 1 conquest point' rather than something like, 'for every one gas and one mineral you spend gain one conquest point'.

Just my opinion, but if there was no cap on the card it would mean a player could use it to win within a couple of turns or so, and seems way too powerful compared to the other event cards. I'd say that the conquest gain is limited to one max.

I completely agree that it is limited to 1. Would be insanely overpowered if you could get 5 vp/round in addition to the planets you hold.

Agreed. I was sure it was in the FAQ somewhere, but haven't found it. Maybe it was in an online ruling in the other forum.

A while ago I made an official request pertaining to this very thing (with this wording):

question: For the stage 2 event card "Industrial Strategy", at the start of each regrouping phase, are you limited to purchasing one conquest point?

And got this back from Corey:

Yes, you may only purchase 1 conquest point per regrouping phase with this card.

So it confirmed our suspicion about it being limited to 1 per Regrouping phase.

No sneaking to the required conquest points to win under the radar before anyone can react by buying more than 1 conquest point per regrouping phase.

"You can play this ability only once per game round."
