Kaptain O 0 Posted September 28, 2012 Title mostly sums it up. The splash page says the first expansion is 60 cards, 3 copies of 20 cards. One of those cards is a runner Identity and one is a corp Identity - are we going to get 3 copies of each? Correct me if I'm wrong but there is no reason/need to have more than one of an Identity right?
ultimateigor 0 Posted September 28, 2012 No there's no need for multiple copies of an identity, but all indications are that that's what we'll get. FFG do the same thing with plot cards in AGoT.
Kaptain O 0 Posted September 28, 2012 /sadface In LOTR LCG they only printed 1 of the characters so I was hoping it would be the same here.
TheRealLeo 0 Posted September 28, 2012 There is one reason to have multiples: You want to have multiple decks built with that particular ID, but don't want to have to switch it around each time you change from one deck to the other. Other than that, not much reason for having the extras… unless you get creative.

In LotR LCG they have more flexibility using the villain decks (can't remember exactly what they're called right now) and can have two copies of some of those cards to allow for a singleton of a hero. Netrunner does not have that luxury and is more similar to AGoT where we get 3x of plots, agendas, and in one case house cards (when the neutral house was introduced); we don't need more than one copy of those (for the most part) but we still get them. Treguard2 0 Posted October 9, 2012 I've doubled up the current identity cards so they are back-to-back in a card sleeve. This helps prevent accidental shuffling into a deck. For the third card in the expansion… yeah, get creative I guess?
