sparCc 0 Posted September 22, 2012 Hi, in my last game i had a special problem. I was playing against Jinteki and was going to score my last two agenda points to win the game. The Problem was that i had no cards in hand while scoring the last two pionts. the Jinteki corp. ability made me loose one hand card after i stole the agenda. So who won the game? Me? Cause i scored the 2 pionts first? The Corp? for making me loose one card while having none? Or is this a draw then? would be glad to hear ure oppinions about that problem. sparCc
Toqtamish 3,643 Posted September 22, 2012 You won as you stole the card and scored it before the Jinteki ability would have gone off. The Jinteki ability goes off whenever an agenda is stolen. When you stole it it would have moved to your score pile giving you 7 points before the damage would have been inflicted. Also if these were worded different and were simultaneous effects since it was your turn your effects would resolve first. That is on page 22.

Butaman551 10 Posted September 22, 2012 Winning the Game (pg. 20)"If at any time a player has seven agenda points in his score area, he immediately wins the game." Lukas has confirmed (somewhere on BGG I think), that when the runner steals an agenda that would give him enough agenda points to win the game, the game immediately ends before any other effects (such as Jinteki's identity ability) have a chance to trigger.
