RedMageStatscowski 117 Posted February 20, 2009 Now I just bought this game, I counted everything, nothing missing and everything is ready and accounted for... except 3 pieces. A Blue Terran Science Vessel, a Red Terran Battlecruiser and a Yellow Protoss Arbiter. They're all flyers, they all lost their clear bases (I still have them), and would Games Workshop plastic glue work on them? Thanks in advance to those who answers. blarknob 0 Posted February 20, 2009 don't know about the games workshop glue, but superglue worked fine for me. I just had to drill out the old plastic end before gluing.
Stefan 732 Posted February 20, 2009 Yep, superglue works fine. If it doesn't work for some reason you can ask for replacements at the FFG customer service, by the way.
Mickymonty 0 Posted February 20, 2009 I tried gluing broken miniatures from Starcraft using GW plastic glue, and it did take eventually, but it's not great (several goes at it over several hours). I have recently used some Humbrol plastic glue for sticking minis together, and found this better for bonding and applying.
RedMageStatscowski 117 Posted February 20, 2009 The Arbiter and the Science Vessel are glued successfully, but the Battlecruiser is a bit too unbalanced to balance on the delicate point on the base. Might have to drill, don't you think?

Then filed that puppy with super and jammed that plastic base in there.FFG is usually pretty good about sending replacement figures if your's are beyond repair. I had a few ghosts that we melted down when I got them. I just emailed them a list of what I needed, got my replacements 3 days later.
RedMageStatscowski 117 Posted February 20, 2009 I'm sure replacements aren't needed. I did win 1st place on one of Games-Workshop's "Konvershun Komp", so I'm good with drilling and gluing.
Mickymonty 0 Posted February 20, 2009 Blimey! This should be a virtual walk in the park for you then!
RedMageStatscowski 117 Posted February 21, 2009 It WOULD be a walk in the park... if my drill bit didn't snap into two. I need a new drill bit
