Gesmi 0 Posted February 19, 2009 I have a question about this artefact card, when do you play it exactly? I understand that in the reveal phase of the game, but do you have to play it right after encounter cards are turned? Or anytime during the reveal phase? Meaning after two players turn the encounter attack cards, others start playing reinforcements, flares and other artefacts. Can I put my Emotional control after that into play cancelling all these cards and making N-N situation?

You can play it any time after the encounter cards are revealed, so waiting to see what the end result will be before you play it, is a good idea. The text on the card implies that once it is played, no further modifications to the battle can be made (save for Card Zapping the EC) - you force the main players to make a deal. Gesmi 0 Posted February 19, 2009 OK, thanx! I thought it works this way. But why it can't be zapped? The card doesn't say anything about that. It says the players must attemp to make a deal, but if it is zapped the card doesn't work.

I was just indicating that a Card Zap is the ONLY thing that can undo/modify the effects of an Emotion Control.
