Game of Thrones Melee League Starts 7th August!

Hey Westerosians!

After an awesome Winter Joust League and then a week off playing the Game of Thrones Board Game, its back to the peoples favourite, the melee league! It starts next Tuesday 7th August. The league will run over 6 weeks with 2 games each week, at 6.30pm and 8pm. Details below

Where: Good Games

Level 1, 195a Burwood Rd, Burwood

When: From August 7th. First game at 6.30pm, second game at 8pm. Runs each Tuesday over 6 weeks

Format: Melee! (multiplayer)

Entry: $7 per night

Prizes: Heaps of prizes both nightly and for the overall league winner, plus a FUN Tuesday night playing a GREAT LCG, A Game of Thrones!

Players score an extra league point each time they play a house they haven't played before. Players also score a bonus league point each time they bring a new player to the league! And of course players can drop their worst weeks score.

Each week you play you automatically get a ticket into the leagues lucky door prize, a Good Games voucher!

New players are welcome, there are plenty of decks and plenty of cool people to lend them to you, if you'd like to have a try. GGs also offer a 10% discount on any Game of Thrones gear bought by players on league nights, so you can tech up your deck whenever you want and it won't cost much!

Hey Westerosians,

Week 2 of the league happened last night at Burwood, and the standard of treacherous backstabbing was very high! After 2 games Nathan Rs Lannisters proved themselves better at backstabbing than anyone else to go undefeated. Gins noble Starks and Glenns Dodgy Lannisters proved resilient in defeat, finishing equal second for the night. Kym took ouit the lucky door prize, and Vaughan from Gulgung cruised in and now has a 100% winning record! Standings below
