blarknob 0 Posted February 17, 2009 Okay so I think it would make sense if spawn broodling actually spawned broodlings. They could have included like two broodling plastics per zerg faction and when you use the spell you add one broodling plastic to the space the battle took place in. That would be the only change needed because broodlings could just use the minor values on combat cards and never qualify for major values. They would have either no support value or a support value of 1 and only ground attack capabilites. Seems like something nice and easy to add to the game to make it more complete. cyb3k 0 Posted February 17, 2009 Well, Broodlings always were units available to use through short time. So I think it would be nice if Spawn Broodling added +1 to attack in skirmish, where this card was triggered (short-term support) instead making Broodlings regular units. blarknob 0 Posted February 18, 2009 broodlings lost their time limit in a patch they stick around forever.
Stefan 732 Posted February 19, 2009 Sorry, I don't concur. Broodings never were really useful units in the game; their purpose was to destroy the unit they were aiming at and forcing the others to shoot them as they evolved. But they never inflicted much damage, at least not enough to legitimate additional plastic and combat cards. You could rule that one unit in the skirmish looses it's support value due to fighting the broodings or something like that...
blarknob 0 Posted February 19, 2009 They wouldn't require any additional combat cards, and they were fairly useful in the game. There is a broodling rush strategy that can really mess people up.
