Decimus Rex 0 Posted October 4, 2012 These all look amazing! I'm very interested in learning how to paint my figures. Are there any guides out there to teach the basics? Or anyone willing to post some basic tips? Paints/primers used and stuff like that? Thanks!

BatHead 8 Posted October 4, 2012 First off, I want to say there's some nicely painted minis here. Kudos to all. Seccondly, I would like to ask, you who have painted your Desceent minis (both 1st and 2nd editions) how are you storing them to keep the finishes from chipping/rubbing off?The plastic used here is notorious for not allowing paint to adhere very well, even with a primer and subsequent clear coat, and the paint can rub off quite easily. Robin13 107 Posted October 18, 2012 But the card behind him is 1st edition, isn't it?
Coldmoonrising 12 Posted October 18, 2012 Robin said: But the card behind him is 1st edition, isn't it? Yup but I like to show my painting reference. Plus it gives none D1e players a chance to see the older player cards. I do have the CK but I choose to use the older ones.
skolo 6 Posted October 19, 2012 I used some break with Descent minis and painted something else. Project Pandora from Mantic. No point of putting the photos here of course, but, well…its good jump away from all those minis I have painted for D2 and ****.
