fnord4 0 Posted February 13, 2009 Was wondering if anybody here (or any people behind the game who may be listening) knew if there was any way of getting the new story deck without buying extra Core sets? Do we know if FFG may or may not sell them at a later date? (Mainly interested for purposes of Multiplayer CoC)
Dr. Zoltar 0 Posted February 13, 2009 I'd be surprised if they did. It seems to be one of, if not the motivating factor to get those of us who have CCG cards to buy the core set.
chicklewis 0 Posted February 13, 2009 They never have done before. Possible but unlikely IMO. Chick
Chibithulhu 0 Posted February 15, 2009 Easy... buy them off people (like myself) who bought 2 or 3 of the Core Set. Why we would need more story cards than the first 10 is my question. ~J~

But i also think, there's only the way to buy them from League-Players who are in for the full set of every card. They surely don't need multiple sets of Domain- and Story Cards. But i also hardly doubt, that FFG will release doubles of Story cards. Another Player (Marius) suggested, to write down the story-Card drawn for each player. Then you won't need 3 full Story-Card sets but only 1. It's not the most elegant way, but is definitly the cheapest.
johnny shoes 1 Posted February 16, 2009 Excellent point! Seeking the story cards alone? You will surely soon enough find players with three cores willing to trade the story deck. You should someday need three of each white border card. But never more than one story deck. Crazy transition we're in - one per core, three per AP V and up. I favor ONE story deck per game. That is the recent awesome tourney rules about trading off three story decks notwithstanding. I see no point in there being six or nine stories out, with no interaction between players. I prefer a common area of battle attacked by a mass of tokens.

Because the only reason you need more than one deck in multi player is because in theory you can run out of stories in multiplayer games.
johnny shoes 1 Posted February 16, 2009 Only in a four person or more game.

johnny shoes 1 Posted February 16, 2009 Unless the four people are two headed monsters, which would then be eight people, still able to play with one story deck.
