badash56 1 Posted June 12, 2012 I have been reading through the newer cards again, and this one struck me as having slightly odd wording: O'Bannion's Ledger Attach to a character. Characters with 0 skill committed to the same story as attached character are discarded from play. Seems straightforward, but would this effect the character it is attached to as well if it had 0 skill? I could be reading into it too much, but it almost reads like it only effects other characters committed to the same story.
TheProfessor 4 Posted June 12, 2012 Hmm… I guess you are questioning the idea of whether this character is committed to the same story as itself, because that is a strange way to word it. I think bottom line is yes, this character (the one with the Ledger) would be affected in the same way as any other character. But that's just instinct. Dark Initiate 0 Posted June 12, 2012 "whether this character is committed to the same story as itself" Put that way, isn't it clear that the effect does effect the character to which the Ledger is attached?
AUCodeMonkey 0 Posted June 13, 2012 Yeah, I'm of the opinion that any character, including the character with the Ledger attached to it, with 0 skill committed to that story will get discarded from play. I don't see any other way to interpret it since it doesn't say "any other character […]"

Yup, this was exactly my line of thought. I think you are correct, it just seemed like an odd way of saying it.
