Two questions about Blood Moon Adventure Cards

I came across Blood Moon today at a local hobby store and picked it up. While sleeving the cards, I came across two which I thought might pose an issue when playing given the proper circumstance.

 

Question 1: 

There is a card called "Prayer Book" (Object) which says: "After rolling the die when praying, you may add up to 3 to the score."

My question is, does the option to add up to a number stack with the Priest's / Monk's / Knight's ability? I don't see why it wouldn't, but I wanted to check on here.

 

Question 2: 

There is a card called "Cairn Caretaker" (Stranger) which says: "The Caretaker will remain here for the rest of the game. You may discard any of your trophies to gain 1 Strength or Craft for each."

My question is, may you turn in a Craft enemy for a Strength counter and may you turn in a Strength enemy for a Craft counter? The way the card is worded suggests that you get to choose which you want for whatever trophy you turn in, but again, clarification would be nice.

1. Yes you may use abilities and cards to stack with each other.

2. Yes you may discard any trophy regardless of whether or not is is a Strength or Craft trophy, and then choose to gain either 1 Strength or 1 Craft.

Ran into the Caretaker myself in my first game. Holy crap stats were skyrocketing like crazy.

I am not sure, but i wonder, if you can trade more than 1 trophy in the same turn to get multiple strength or craft cones if you encounter the cairn caretaker?..

 

I think that you can only used it one time during a encounter with her ( by trading only one trophy…

 Based on how the card is worded, I would think that you can trade in multiple trophies. It says "you may discard any of your trophies to gain 1 Strength or Craft for each." "Any" suggests multiple cards and "each" would seem to support that. I would think that if it was limited to one it would say "you may turn in one of your trophies to gain either a Strength or Craft."
