Emirikol 436 Posted May 6, 2012 Wow, you'd think that finding something like this would be easier than it is. There are games out there but nothing that simply draws up a murdery mystery structure with a touch of a button (if anyone finds something like this let me know). Anyways, here are two interesting sites for scenario generation ideas: aaronareed.net/2010/three.html The Namator: Set it to German and you've got endless Imperial names: www.namator.com/names_people_a.php. What I found useful was to set either the first or last name to German and then set the other part to whatever region they are in (Nordland, use norwegian/swedish, if in Ostermark, use Czech/polish, etc.) jh
Fenderstat 21 Posted May 7, 2012 hhhmmm. I'm not sold on the story generator, if it had more options it'd be a winner. Name generators are life savers for GM's of any setting.
valvorik 271 Posted May 7, 2012 Not electronic, but the generator for "noir situations" in Greg Stolze's "A Dirty World" game is pretty sweet. I've used it to "noir up" the events in a Cthulhu adventure that involved a murder and it would work with some adaptation in a fantasy setting.
