chaosvt 0 Posted March 12, 2012 I may have got the name of th eability wrong but its the one where it drops a LOS blocking smoke canister in a square until the end of the next round. The language in the ability talks about artillery strike and this makes it confusing for me. So does using the smoke shell ability require me to bring an artillery weapon? If so does it deplete any ammo; such as a steel rain missle or the lother's loaded token? Would it also activate that unit as per the standard artillery strike rules? Major Mishap 33 Posted March 12, 2012 The smoke round has nothing to do with any other unit. Just place a smoke token on the board once per game. Also, did someone say in another thread that there is a smoke square terrain piece in one of the other sets? As we can't find it.
Loophole Master 2 Posted March 12, 2012 As Mishap said, the Smoke Mortar just falls from the sky, presumably fired by something off the board. It doesn't involve any other unit besides the NCO Squad. And yes, the SeeLowe expansion comes with 3 smoke cardboard squares, which depict a smoky area with a cannister in the middle and the diamond terrain marker. On the reverse of these squares you have a piece of wreckage and two 1-square buildings, one with one entrance and one with two.
felkor 74 Posted March 13, 2012 SeeLowe also comes with a clear smoke counter - looks the same as the "Loaded" token, but with a diamond terrain icon instead of the word "Loaded".
felkor 74 Posted March 13, 2012 Or, just grab some cotton and put it in the square for a more 3D look. :-)

Are you sure about that? My SeeLowe didn't come with any clear counters. Aren't you thinking of Cerberus?
felkor 74 Posted March 13, 2012 Ah so you're right. I got the 3 large expansions at approximately the same time and got it confused.
