ezradenney 0 Posted March 4, 2012 I have a character who wants to become a lawyer for his character, and I am trying to figure out what I want to do with the lawyer (or perhaps solicitor) talent card. I was thinking of allowing an automatic fortune die in any social action with lower class (intimidated by lawyers) and a misfortune die with upper class (hate lawyers..) But that is sort of boring. Any clever ideas I might borrow out there PS - I don't have Lure to Power, does it include a lawyer career?

How about one of these: * Once per session you may conduct a Guile or Intimidate as if the action was based on your Intelligence * In a social encounter, when spending fortunepoints on a social action, - you may use your Education skill in place of the Guile, Charm or Intimidate skill. * Once per session you may add an expertise die to a guile or intimidate check
ezradenney 0 Posted March 5, 2012 Those are all awesome! I especially like the 2nd one, because it is pretty mechanically unique. Good stuff there. Now, he just has to survive 9 more sessions, and find someone who will train him to be a lawyer. Should I call it Lawyer, Barrister, Solicitor or Bailey? Venus 22 0 Posted March 6, 2012 How about "Advocate"? If you haven't seen it, watch the firm "The Advocate" (aka "Hour of the Pig") - it may help you get some feeling for the role of the medieval lawyer.
Jericho 9 Posted March 6, 2012 I think Heroes Call will have a Magistrate advanced career... Could be of some help.
