marcemtp 19 Posted February 29, 2012 Do you think they will release heros for axis and allies with the heroic pilot ability? Or is it going to be an SSU only ability. The KV walker has 5 life and her life being 4 makes the combination very long lived on the battlefield. I know the points cost for taking the combo will make it fair to all the other factions. Dakkon426 0 Posted February 29, 2012 Its probably just a matter of time, its likely that the SSU are just getting these things first to make them special while they play catch-up.
Hekal Xul 0 Posted March 1, 2012 I would personally like to see either a new or re-released Sigrid mini complete with her personal JagdLuther ie the all black night ops version. Would be a nice way of re-introducing the now OOP character and bringing the popular Dust Models bot design over "officially" to Tactics/Warfare. Where do I send the check?
Psykostevo 3 Posted March 1, 2012 I want someone more like Panzerprinz. He's mysterious and way too calm looking. Perfect deadly combination.
Loophole Master 2 Posted March 1, 2012 I just hope future walker+pilot combos are a bit more impressive that what Koshka brings to the Babushka.

You might be hasty on your opinion early on. Not saying you're right or wrong, but being able to one shot most walkers on a miss, even once a game is decently strong. Loophole Master 2 Posted March 1, 2012 Yeah, I've said it before that I might be completely wrong in my initial, uneducated assesment. We won't really know how good it is until we've tried it. But, hey, so far that's all I have, so I'm going with it.
Psykostevo 3 Posted March 1, 2012 I'm impressed with the Zverograd walker combo myself. I would be satisfied with just nameless veterans who cost 5-15 points and bring a skill to the walker. That way in a squad of 2-3 walkers one could be the squad leader per se. Skills like scout, assault, spotter, etc.
Loophole Master 2 Posted March 1, 2012 My problem is that for 18AP, the only thing that Koshka brings to the table is a one-time ability for her walker to use. Once the walker is destroyed she seems mostly useless, only really an extra activation and a figure to block the enemy's LOS/movement. Pairing her with a squad is nothing but a blood bank, since her skill is useless on foot.
Lska2 0 Posted March 1, 2012 That girl is highly overpriced ATM, but i hope we don't know all yet;)
Major Mishap 33 Posted March 1, 2012 Sure she's not worth those points when fielded without her walker, but certainly is when in it , doubling a chance of a one-shot kill is a huge boost after a 2 square move.

marcemtp 19 Posted March 5, 2012 Hopefully they don't make it like at-43 where every hero had a special walker or vehicle. Don't get me wrong my son and i still play at-43 and we seem to always use or hero/walker combo, but i think Dust tactics can be a greater success by having heroic pilot an uncommon skill for heros. loken14 2 Posted March 11, 2012 yea not everyoe needs to be a pilot but in the comic sigrid does have a walker tat most people want
Hekal Xul 0 Posted March 28, 2012 Dust Models have posted a Thaler/Jagd combo (based on RCS artwork), another German Pilot character and a monument.... Stat card for her looks very light on detail though.
Loophole Master 2 Posted March 28, 2012 They're only showing the stat card for the Nachtjäger, which is just like a standard JagdLuther. What we have to see if this Sigrid has stats that are any different from the original one, and what the future rules say about the interaction between hero and walker. Probably it'll just be a case of the walker being able to use Sigrid's Berserk.

Agree yes its profiled the same as the normal Jadg-Luther but as according to the blurb: "..it has a latest generation Vampyr night vision system; employs only VK modified shells with its guns and has a new VK engine that allow for faster speed on the battlefield. A truly terrifying war machine." Fluff > Fact it seems. Hopefully it will see a revision before its properly released. Its also unlikely there will be an additional card for the Sigrid mini either as the figure is in no way designed to be posed out of cockpit. Have DM even produced a stat card for any of their named characters yet?
Lska2 0 Posted March 31, 2012 Well according to fluff gemran hvies can destroy bunkers by walking on them ( at least that is wriitten on the box) while in reality they cannot even walk over a tank trap so... Let's wait for some stats:D
