parasite cage vs parasite cage

if i am playing a Dark/Player deck and he manages to bring out Lv. 7 parasite cage into his friend area, what would happen if i next turn play parasite cage and chose to capture his parasite cage? would my friend be released?

You friend would be released, and send right to the discard pile. ANYTHING that sends Cage to another part of the field or hand destorys the captive friend.
