player1405144 0 Posted December 25, 2011 I just got the core game (and the Secrets of Arkham expansion) for Christmas, and I have some questions about them: 1. Why do all the factions have 20 cards, except the Agency (21) and Miskatonic (19)? 2. What is the reason for the Bootleg Whiskey Cover-Up? It's not a faction card or anything, but it's not part of the 10-card Story deck or listed as part of either "neutral" deck. Thanks guys!!
OrionPax21 2 Posted December 26, 2011 1) Theres a character that was supposed to be Misk U but was misprinted with the Agency borders, Steve Clarny I believe. 2) The Bootleg Whiskey Cover-Up is a Conspiracy card, these are covered on pg. 11 in the rulebook. So was it errata'd to be changed? Has it been reprinted correctly since then? 2. Right, but it doesn't belong to any of the "decks" that you're supposed to shuffle together. So does it just sit in the box until I'm ready to start actually crafting decks?
TheProfessor 4 Posted December 26, 2011 There is no errata for Steve Clarney. He will remain Agency. The conspiracy cards could be considered as Neutrals for the intro deckbuilding exercises if you'd like.
dboeren1 294 Posted December 27, 2011 Correct, the Conspiracy is a Neutral card, you can use it as such in your decks if you like. Personally, I leave it out when teaching new players as an unnecessary complication. Steve Clarney is now an Agency character, they do not intend to issue an errata. When playing for fun you can house rule him back to a Miskatonic character if you like but officially he's Agency.
