Khensu 1 Posted November 23, 2011 I will be short. Can an astropath send or recive messages in the warp? Because he gets his powers from the warp, and when in it, then isnt his powers blocked too?
Plasmafest 12 Posted November 24, 2011 No chance, the Gellar Fields are the proverbial lead shielding against any sort of Astropathic messaging.
Luther Engelsnot 22 Posted November 28, 2011 I would like to know why or the source for this statement. Because as far as I understand the Gellar Field creates a bubble in the warp, which functions exactly like the Materium. So it shouldn’t be harder or different than being out of the warp or am I mistaken?
Zarkov N 0 Posted November 28, 2011 javascript:void(0);/*1322527947646*/ (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp?efid=70&efcid=3&efidt=479501) Yikes. Okay. It's been asked and answered, back in April. The great MILLANDSON consulted with Sam Stewart, and was informed that astropathic communications can be sent and received while in the warp. Of course, if you want to mix things up, it's your game...just play fair with the players. Tell them straight and plain how it's meant to be, because an astropath has every right to know how the job should work. Don't keep secrets about how things should be, or they won't get as freaked out when things go awry.
Khensu 1 Posted December 5, 2011 thx for the info. but I will stay with the astropaths can only send or get info in normal space. I started this way, so it will stay this way.
