Red Scorpions

Does anyone know of some Red Scorpions rules? I have the sudden urge to make a character from that chapter.

I haven't seen any personally.  You might already know this but Rites of Battle has rules for making custom chapters so if you know the Red Scorp fluff and tabletop rules, you might be able to make your own.  What are they know for specifically in the fluff and the tabletop?  The only thing I can remember is that they have a thing for purity and could take apothecaries as tact squad sergeants do to their focus on pure geneseed IIRC.  At a minimum, I'd make medicae a chapter advance skill.

Th current Chapter master is also the chief librarian Sevrin Loth if memory serves me correct.  Albeit due to the lack of psykers in the initial Red Scorpion geneseed.  After some conflict which I can't seem to recall, they mended ties with the fire hawks.

The Red scorpions are interesting bunch as they have their own variant of the land raider (with the whirlwind missile launcher on top).  They're also pretty fiesty, later friendly with the Fire Hawks so I guess you probably wanna have good reputation with the fire hawks.

Geneseed purity is a must for the Chapter.  For the Apothecary, maintaining the Geneseed purity is a must.  You may choose to play a librarian since its not stated that the fire hawks have a lack of psykers as well.

I'm not sure if all characters should gain access to medicae as a trained skill/ advanced skill.

Chapter Master of the Red Scorpions is Carrab Culln, as of the Badab War.

Red Scorpions are a big Forgeworld chapter so their fluff and tabletop rules tend to show up in their books.  The Badab War is the most recent series with info on them but they also make a showing in the first Vraks book IIRC and the Anphelion one.  The warhammer wiki tends to cliff note those books fluff and would be a valuable source of info if you don't have access to those books

From that info, I'd say their codex Demeanour (using the ROB custom chapter rules) would be Purity Above All for sure.  Let us know what you come up with.
