Necronis 0 Posted September 1, 2011 I cannot seem to find anything forbidding bringing these troops back. Am I correct in this?
player772950 1 Posted September 2, 2011 Huh... yeah, I guess there's nothing saying that the Medics can't return the zombies to service. Maybe they just staple them together/give them another dose of Dr. West's German zombie fluid.
Peacekeeper_b 5 Posted September 2, 2011 And Gorillas as well. These are some top class medics. First Aid, Necromancy and Veterinarian Medicine!
arkangl2 6 Posted September 2, 2011 Ha never thought about it but my friend brought the Gorillas back in a game we played. I think they need to put some servo arms on them or something from 40k.
Necronis 0 Posted September 2, 2011 I was thinking the BlutKreuz special rule would state this but thought I would ask around, Thanks for the replies!
arkangl2 6 Posted September 2, 2011 Yea there it only says the Hero joining them has to have it. It doesnt say anything about the Unit healing them has to be it. The medic never joins the squad so the rule would be negated for this circumstance.

I don't want to be working on a pissed off and wounded gorilla though.
blkdymnd 182 Posted September 5, 2011 it's the same process as getting B.A. Baracas on an airplane....
Peacekeeper_b 5 Posted September 6, 2011 Brings up the interesting concept of Gorilla or Zombie command squads though!

I think it would be interesting. A Ape with the Command skill, one with Medic and the other a support weapon. A squad of apes armed with a panzer glove and a MG 44 Zwei. I believe that the apes, with the exception of Markus, are well below normal human intelligence which would kind of preclude a command squad.
madmaxknick50 0 Posted September 16, 2011 The apes and zombies will have three characters to provide them with leadership ... kind of precludes a command squad for either one.

Cause no other unit has heroes and command squads? I dont expect command squads for these guys (unless the Ape Rebellion hinted at in Operation Seelowe actually happens) but it would be nice ot have different types of units of apes and zombies. Even if it were simple things like machine gun apes, exploding zombies and so forth. But a Blutkreuz scientist that acts as a medic/command squad for apes or zombies would be neat as well. Only one out of every twenty zombies can even speak and even then only barely. It will be a long time before we perfect the alien serum to the point where we can retain full human intelligence.
