Can I drain multiple domains for a single card?

 I'm a newbie, please forgive me. But I can't find in the rulebook where it says yes or no to this question. Can I drain multiple domains for a single card? Example: if I have 5 cards on one domain and 1 on another and the card I want to play needs 6 resources, can I drain both domains? or would I HAVE to have 6 resources on one domain to play that card? thanks!

"Important: Players can never drain more than one domain to pay
the cost of playing a card or activating a card effect. Many times a
player will “overpay” for a card, because the drained domain will
have more resources than the cost of the card. The extra resources
paid are immediately lost; they do not “carry over” to the next card
played." (p. 8)
