Poyet 0 Posted July 31, 2011 from NEW FAQ Q: Does the special ability Black Ops work during the first round? A: Yes I hope thats mistake . If Unit is not on the board it should not be allowed to use Abilities.
Major Mishap 33 Posted July 31, 2011 Seems ok to me, no reason to disalow it as its the sort of skill that could be used pre-battle.

Loophole Master 2 Posted July 31, 2011 Perfectly reasonable to me. As the units are entering the board, the blackops guy should already be doing his work.
Poyet 0 Posted July 31, 2011 Ok. Vox Populi vox dei - my allied opponents will be happy. I have a problem with unit using its abilities when its not in play ....but i guess its aesthetics thing . For me egzistence of things start when they enter board, not when they are added to army list. Someone now can try to argue that black ops works after joe death. Or indirect altilery shot before it enters field ...

No, because Joe has to be in the force, he's not if he's removed as a casualty, and no to indirect artillery because the rules do not give that option. Hey i hear you and understand - but still don like it. In force means - on army list - and for me its not enough ... In force or removed as casualty means nothing for me - there are not in game - and remeber that they can be brought back . "no to indirect artillery because the rules do not give that option" is there anything in rules of indirect fire that unit have to be in play? Once again i agree thats the new interpretation and i agree it make sens - for me its just not elegant if you now what i mean.
