Austrian Nationals 2011 - more than just an AGOT Tourney

Joust: Sat, 27th august

on friday and sunday we are going to play what people prefer. this could be  melee, draft 8with old CCG cards), legacy, hand of the king. and of course there are going to be lots of boardgames ...

Prizepool: the Nationals Kit by FFG, an original artwork (by Franz Miklis), lots of prints and more.

Entry fee for the Nationals (Joust): 10-15 euro (depends on the number of players)

Players may stay at the homes of local players for free. Just bring your sleeping bag. important: tell us in advance, if you want to make use of it!

CP up to Isle of Raven is going to be tourney legal.

Mask of the Archmaster is not tourney legal (english version is not yet available in europe)

friday 7pm:

Draft Tourney (with 5 boosters, fee: 5 euro)

saturday 11am:

Joust Championship: 5 preliminary rounds (timecall 55 minutes) + top 8 final. fee: 12 euro.

afterwards: boardgames and party

sunday 11am:

Hand of the King Tourney

ELEVEN? Phew, that means I need to get up early.

So, I'm guessing we're gonna have a good turnout? How many are you expecting?

turnout is okay with about 22-25 players.

playing 5 rounds and top8 final takes some time ...

are you coming by car? or taking the train? someboday shoul dbe able to fetch from the station. also when exactly will you be arriving? all other players are already in salzburg since friday, so we can shange the starting time a little bit.

we're coming by car. Eleven should be just fine. If the roads are clear, we might even arrive a bit before that. I'm planning to start in Munich at around 8.30. I'm bringing Mat and Tom.

is needed for the Joust Nationals (any format is okay, it has to be legible).

 

Draft Tourney

is going to be played with 5 boosters:

1x Iron Throne

1x House of Thorns

2x House of Talons

1x 5 Kings

tourney fee: 5 euro.

 

you will be needing a draft pack.

that consists of the old "draft-booster" containing:

Plots: Wildfire Assault, Counting Coppers, Filthy Accusations, Alliance,Taxation
Locations: 3x The Roseroad, 3x The Searoad

and the "draft-supplement" containing:

Plots: Fortified Position, On Raven´s Wings
Locations: 1x Fallow Fields, 1x The God´s Eye, 3x Kingsroad Fiefdom, 3x Sunset Sea, 3x Narrow Sea, 3x Summer Sea

its allowed to bring any version of these cards. also, for this tourney we will allow to use proxies.
