so the ship we have has the drop pod array from into the storm now one of the players asked what would be the pros and cons of giving 100 of are guys power armor and bolt guns with a few heavy weapons so i told him i would get back to him on that now would you get a bonus to hit and run or stuff like landing them on a ork infested planet would they kill the orks quicker die or give a bonus to the die roll what. these are all things he asked and now i am asking you

You honestly should structure your post a bit better as i'm not entirely sure i'm understanding all that you're asking.  So i hope i get all questions right:

• what would be the pros and cons of giving 100 of are guys power armor and bolt guns with a few heavy weapons?

Pro's are obvious: they can do more damage, take more damage and generally are a pretty powerful signal of your might/wealth.

Cons are that it's costly, it's the kind of posturing that'll draw attention, they might get it in their heads to start a mutiny and good luck getting them all under control then.

• would you get a bonus to hit and run

Hit and run is an opposed command test after a succesfull pilot test (barring the use of a teleportarium).  So unless you as a GM houserule otherways, it wouldn't.

• stuff like landing them on a ork infested planet would they kill the orks quicker

Well yeah they would because they'd be better armed and thus do more damage.  Also they'd be able to take more damage before being wounded which means that they'd be less likely to be eliminated fast.  Still, if the whole planet is infested then odds are they'll get overrun anyway.  Being in power armour doesn't make them space marines and giving them heavy weapons won't improve their aim.

Are the troops trustworthy and loyal to you?  If yes, are they strong of will (Armor of Contempt?)? If yes go for it.

If not, don't risk it.  One hundred power armoured bolt gun toting thugs can kill even the toughest RT and retinue in a pitched battle.
