theguildllc 0 Posted June 6, 2011 the spider mech is from westwindproductions (secrets of the third reich). Fantastic redblok stuff, ive got some of those in the pipes too, too much stuff to paint. By the time i finnish theyll have actuall models.
Myrnir 0 Posted June 6, 2011 I got into AT-43 because of the Red Block and WWII feel, despite being technically in the far future. Dust Tactics is the game I've been waiting for! And it will be fun to do WWII stuff with a slight twist Got a ton of Premium stuff on order that I will then add detail to. Looking at the first batches that I got, I'll have to repaint faces, add shadowing, highlights, and dust-grime to the armor for the inf. Vehicles have a nice base coat and wear on them. I'll still have to add shadowing, dust, grime, and maybe rust to them. And yeah, it looks like by the time I get done painting all my Americans and Germans, the Ruskies will finally come out! The KV-47 heavy armored inf are gonna be a blast
theguildllc 0 Posted June 6, 2011 Just got my 'Otto' from dust-models.com and it comes with all the parts to build a KV-47!!! Now, do i build as Otto or KV-47...?

Now THAT is a hard decision! I vote for the KV-47, but then I have a sore spot for the Ruskies!
theguildllc 0 Posted June 6, 2011 The Otto conversion bits are resin (the arms and weapons plus a 'counterweight' type thing like the jagluther). It also has Kv-47 Mini cannons, flamers and chainfist looking things. Really a great looking kit. I feel as though i should do it Russian but am a bit tired of painting green. Might go that route though, magnatize the weapons and mount the missiles on a Loth...
theguildllc 0 Posted June 6, 2011 Oh, and i was customer #1,000 so they sent me a nice little note and some swag. Hint-hint FFG.
theguildllc 0 Posted June 6, 2011 Built the otto as a kv-47. there are enough arms to do all three weapon options without need of magnets. will post pics when painted....so no time soon...
Guest Not In Sample Posted June 6, 2011 does it come with any fluff info about the caliber of the weapons or anything ?
theguildllc 0 Posted June 6, 2011 Just that they are anti-tank and anti-personel weapons. In the comic Sigrid weilds one like a panzerfaust.
Leutnant_Manfred 0 Posted June 8, 2011 The Otto's weapons are based on the experimental Panzerfaust 250. The Cone shaped charges are Anti-tank rounds, the flat charges are anti-personnel rounds. I also note that it seems the new Hans walker from the revised core set utilizes this very same armament. However, I know of no information regarding the 250's calibre, since the weapon never made it past the development stage, but the panzerfaust 60 (the standard model we all know) was 149mm. Told you this was my forte
