Ensnare card

Recommended Posts

Hy

Gain +1 health.Opposing units in this skirmish have their support values reduced to 0.

So my question is ,if i play this card and my opponent play psionic storm which give +2 attack. His +2 attack from psionic storm is negated by  ensnare??but if my opponent play bunker card(+3health) is negated by ensnare ?

From how i understand it, ensnares reduces the support value printed on the Faction Sheets for the supporting units (ex. marine gives +1 attack, carrier gives +2 attack, etc.), and NOT the effects of other cards that give units + attack or + health. So, in this case, psi-storm gives the front-line unit +2 attack but the +2 attack isnt considered to be a "support value" so it isnt reduced to 0. same for the bunker, the front-line unit still gets +3 health but any unit acting as support units gets their support value reduced to 0.

To sum it up, ensnares only reduces the support value printed on the Faction Sheet corresponding to the unit and does not reduce any attack or health gained by effects.

This is how i understand it but i could be wrong. Hope this helps

No. Ensnare simply kills the support values printed on the faction sheets (the one with the nuclear explosion).
