First off, if your trying to use her third ability, don't bother. It's really not worth it and it is difficult to do at the moment.

Also good, as of my experiences, is a terrible symbol. Mabye try using fire. Alot of setsuka's support can help you out.

Her third ability isn't bad, and it ain't that hard to pull off. I usually use it as a finisher for the sting. I thought good was a close top teir symbol with the control it has? I am currently looking into fire for her, though I still want to try and match 2 symboles for attacks two get the second enhance.

Looks like the only way to do that is by playing Kanzukiryuu Kakutojutsu. Though kinda creepy that a foundation like that hasnn't been used in other decks. Well it seems that good isn't putting out a good vibe. So should I play Fire?

If you switch to fire, i suggest prova dei cervo, and then meloncoly mercurious. If the first attack hits (8dmg) and enhance with the +3 dmg to all after attacks. 8 + 7 +7 + 7 dmg. Done it a few times for a fast win :).

As for control with fire you can use bitter rivals, kazana ninja arts, silver spoon, superior witch, red gi(soon to be phased out by march), unorthodox training (beaten be several times), teenage champion for foundations spaming, no memories, manifest destiny. Remeber flight or flight also owns multiple copies :). Just be prepared to block the first few atks :).

Fire also has a few decent 6 checks with  minor dmg boosts  and also everyones favorite fight or flight. Fire also has decent speed boosts such as kung fu training

Also minor life gain. .

You already have your momentum gain card :)

please also realize many of the cards you are using share both anyways. one of my favorites good cards is red lotus of the sun. light on ones feet.

In my own opinion, both are good choices, fire will do a more dmg (hopefully), but good has a few more ways to keep you alive.

damage versus extra techniques of hindering your opponent. Many of the cards share both of have a way of doing whatever the other resource does, to a lesser extent :). I personally have only suggested fire techiques because I was building a fire deck today hahaha.

Hope this helps

Re: Elena's 3rd ability. IMO it's only worth it to try if you're using Exploding Death or Thunderbolt, or better yet are playing Legacy and have Stone Wall Thrust.

Elena looses SO MUCH in rotation, it hurts me to even look at this list. Flowing Gale Hook 4H5, matching block zone for Wind Dance. Clones 4M7. Mark of the Beast 5M6+4. Shaman Training, 4/4 4M5, if it hits your next attack gets Multiple:1. All of Cassie's attacks from Higher Calibur [undertow/Cutlass Serendipty, 3/3 4spd offcenter for 5?, and Artemis Dart 4/3 4H6 with a speed pump ability]. She can really go places...

Block 3... Wind Storm and Lynx Tail are both excellent, Soul Burner is OK (good stats, but Ranged and effectively no ability), Thunderbolt ain't terrible, Side Harpe would give you a 5M6 multiple:1 for 6difficulty and a split asset, not terrible. If you go into attacks that only share 1 symbol with Elena, then you're basically playing a jankified version of Zi Mei/Yi Shan.

I'd add Savage Fighter to your list, whatever you do. I'm not really sold on Fight or Flight either, since Elena works better with long attack strings of low-difficulty low-damage attacks - so FoF is probably only going to add 2 or 3 damage over what Elena would do anyway. If you add a big attack to give Multiple with Elena, then it's worth it, but until then...

all I can say is that you can take out that Kazuki Speed boost card and maybe Empire's Ruin for at least 1 more damage boost foundation and 1 more stronger -good- attack... or just replace that Hand Stand Kick for something else.

I just see lots of speed boosting and not much damage which could be why you aren't doing enough damage but some... true the Warrior Princess can do lots but I didn't see much momentum build outside of your attacks doing little damage but high speed.

Nav buddy ya shoulda bugged me on Sunday heh I woulda helped. Anywho's, I'd STRONGLY suggest switching over to Fire. Namely for this reason:

Good can't kill reliably outside of Feline Spike. I will defend this thought to the gates of hell if I have too, but apart from Spike, the only other real huge threat is Shin Shoryuken, and even then you'll have to gain a nice chunk of momentum in order to kill some folks.

Now fire on the other hand, has a CRAP TON of kill cards and high damage attacks. Spinning Beat (yes I know it has good too :P), Exploding Death, Reverse Flayer into something, Gravity Storm, and a few others.

It also has a bunch of aggro foundations, and enough control to survive into the mid range games.

Aggro:

Any of Leona's cards

Commitment to Excellency

Tae Kwon Do Zephyr

etc etc.

Control/Survivability:

Speak the Truth

No Memories

Manifest Destiny

Blinding Rage

Makai High Noble

Silver Spoon (one of THE meta defining cards)

Hybrids:

Bitter Rivals

Fight or Flight

Healer

So out of all those cards, only ONE of them is a rare, and even then they're not too expensive. Fire has a cheap and damned good attack line up, and even their actions are great:

Kung Fu Training

Thunder Clap

Yoga Adept

Out of all those, only the Adept is a rare, and even then it's just a regular rare.

So as you can see, you  don't even need a super rare to run a decent fire deck. You could MAYBE run Spinning Beat, but you honestly don't need it.

Cheers,

Brad

Thanks for the tip and the highlights. I am getting a Fire List prepared but in the mean time I tried to list a duel symbole to balance some control and aggro. Still gotta test it but it should go well... In theroy.
