player266669 273 Posted May 22, 2011 1. Who exactly can trigger the "Kneel 1 Influence to move this attachment to another character" effect printed on the Poisoned Wine card? I ask because normally, this is card you would want to attach to an opponent's character. 2. If a character with Poisoned Wine attached to him dies, can I kneel 1 influence to move the card to another character before the dead character goes to the dead pile and sends my Poisoned Wine card to my own discard pile? This has absolutely nothing to do with who controls the character the attachment is placed on. If an opponent plays this on your character, they still control the attachment. Attachments are completely separate cards. They kneel separately from what they are attached to. They stand separately. They are controlled separately. There is nothing anywhere in the rules that says or implies that the controller of the character automatically controls all attachments on that character, no matter who put them there.Venthrac said: 2. When an effect kills a character, the only things that can be done "on the way out" are Responses, and even most of those are pretty limited. The character - and the attachment - will be dead and gone before you have a chance to trigger the effect.
player266669 273 Posted May 22, 2011 Thank you for your clear answers. I am beginning to get my head around this game a bit better. I like it, but there are a lot of nuances and shading to the timing of events.
