Stupid Servants, or What Are your Minion ideas?!

29 posts in this topic

The title says it all.  Your "modified" servitors, your pathetic Cherubael imitations(advice for you, Prophitani seemed more loyal), your cultists, your talkers, and your unnecessarily powerful sorcerers, bring them all!

My ideas are coming as soon as I finish my reportsad.gif

Hate to be somewhat cliche, but bullet stoppers on combat drugs, so I can get the f**k out before some bastard acolyte or marine blows me up :)

I think any fallen, heretek Tech-Priest needs a servitor hench-thing of dubious intelligence to boss around the laboratory.  It will be named "You Imbecile", of course.gran_risa.gif

Cheers,

A group of enslaved Simulacra that can be used to infiltrate the Imperium and use the assets of the Inquisition for me if not work as assassins outright. A Simulacra that can slip into the Halls of Power and send the Vindaire assassins out to attack my targets, armed with "proof" of heresy would be rather nice. They would also make effective spies. They would have to be used sparingly and with intelligence for too many bodies turning up without explanation may ruin the whole group.

Swordsmen with Fractal Blades that have been permeated with mico-bombs so that slivers that become lodged in an enemy's flesh explode, causing additional damage. (ahh just came up with it, so I have no stats. Undoubtablely dangerous to the user as well as the enemy)

If you don't want to be blown up by a Space Marine get a Chaos Space Marine bodyguard.gran_risa.gif

Had an idea for at least 4 characters I want to try play if I got the chance.

1 character was going to be a knightly / honourable warrior of Khorne, who's minion would be a squire.

Another was going to be a Tzeentch sorcerer of some kind followed around by basically a walking-encyclopedia for a minion (some kind of servitor or something like the Sage model for the Witch Hunters army in 40k).

Another was going to be a Nurgle mad doctor / scientist who's probably many minions would all just be his bodyguards and test subjects in one (think high-toughness, low-intellect characters for him to try new plagues on).

And another character I think that would be fun to roleplay would be a Chaos Space Marine who's minion is another Chaos Space Marine who's probably thinking of one day taking over my character's place through eventual betrayal. Might be hard playing with a minion who probably would kill you with enough failed Loyalty tests, but if it happens, I could probably talk to the GM about then making my new character my first character's minion after he took over.

Hi,

Maybe an identical body double minion, a nod to the old RoC attribute "duplication", and an interesting story tool. On successful fel tests an invaluable alibi for those dirty deeds, on failed tests the minion does something deceitful/stupid/embarrassing for which my character has to take responsibility for.

I'm thinking a few.

1. A banner bearer, who don't want somthing to walk ahead of you to announce your arrival.

2.For your sorcerers i'm reminded of deliriums ballon from the sandman. It changes shape constantly. It's a ballon, a floating fish, it's chair....etc

3. Living armour, not sure it works with the rules, but hey it would be cool.

4. Anyone remember rogue trooper? Bagman, gunn etc. Very cool!

There you go, weird wacky and fun.

A group of freethinking young radicals who want to stand up to the faschist Imperium of man.  Mullets and an ability to bullseye womprats in their T16's back home are essential qualifications.

Titan-sized, four or six legged daemonic monstrosities that lumber across the battle field, spewing newly created humanoid soldiers, and eating all th bio-mass and psy energy in it's reach in order to be able to "birth" more foul soldiers. Templates of what kind of soldiers are imprisoned painfully deep within the monster and all the soldiers created are daemonic clones of these soldiers with their skills and memories, but loyal to the Chaos Lord and his Champions.

A very fast (Unnatural Agility/Speed, high Agility)... Thing (doesn't have to be human, right?) with a shield and a power sword and a heavy weapon toting Heretic Guardsman. Nice and simple.

First requirement: My minions can't turn against me.

Second requirement: My minions can't provide intelligence (as in data) to the enemy.

Third requirement: My minions should be relatively easy to replace.

Fourth requirement: I should be able to use my minions to heal/restore/revive/repair myself. Or to use them to feign my death.

Fifth and most important requirement: My minions must know what NOT to touch EVER. Including, but not limited to, the red button of  "self destruct" when I'm about to win the war.

 @Argus

Sounds like shapeshifting psykers with psychic implants to not only remain obedient and keep a trust, but can be slain with a thought. They also have the ability to use said psyker power to help heal or cloak you in illusion while shifting to look like you when the Death Watch kill-team (or Chaos rivals) bust in the door to take you out for the last time (again)

An insurrection cult-army that can launch terrorist attacks to disorganize the Imperium while I move in for the real objective, and who won't stand around and get blow to tiny bits by the first counter-attack or barrage.

My Nurgleist might have some kind of gore drooling, mangy wolf/tiger/zerling/squig/hellhound thing. Depends on the rules.

I want a robot. Not a servitor, a real, ancient robot. Perhaps possessed by a daemon. Might be modeled after AMEE from Red Planet, only bulked up for combat (larger than a Marine) who's natural weapons count as lightning claws or power fists, with (at minimum) a multi-laser (fed indefinitely by the robot's onboard reactor) for firepower. Protective bodyguard and target destroyer.

Some sort of ultra-deadly warp beasty would also be cool, like a khymera. Or a juggernaught, for a khorny.

And I'll need a pilot. Sort of a Han Solo on retainer, scrappy and resourceful.

I think it would be cool to be a servant of Slaanesh and have a female daemon as a servant. Not just like a daemonette from table top, who just fights with big talons, but something more like a succubus that can change into a beautiful human form and has incredible charisma and ability to charm and seduce.

A master tailor / hairdresser / fashionista for my dilletente Slaaneshi noble cultist.  It's so hard to bring down the Imperium without the right shoes!

Hi,

@Sergeant Brother. Could be tough to get out of bed in the morning...gui%C3%B1o.gif

Yeah, it is my belief that there are more Slaanesh cultists than worshipers of other gods combined - its just that they are too busy pursuing - ahem recreational activities - to ever accomplish anything.
