My Allies

Recommended Posts

Well my idea of weathering is to just cover them in QuickShade from The Army Painter followed by anti-shine.  It gives it nice shadows and a weathered look.  Works good for me.

very cool.  thanks for posting them.  should have a pic of a medium walker tomorrow

as far as the scheme, since i got them i wanted to find a good way to build off of the basecoat they were kind enough to provide us with, so i based it off that green.

Finally an update!  Command squad, observers, and sniper team... and my new Dust Games bases I received over the weekend, which all my previous models are now converted over to.

 Very cool!

I haven't painted since my early days of playing 40K. I bought a bunch of paints recently and some new brushes. I am afraid to touch my Dust models with them though in the fear I will screw them up.

Thanks everyone!  This game is definitely inspiring me to paint.  I haven't painted this much for this long in forever.  I did get my bot hunters done this weekend, this catches me up with all new stuff until Seelowe and the light walkers come out.  So now, I'll start working on my second set of Allies core models.  So I will probably let this slide until I either have Ozz in my hands or I win Johnny One Eye in our league (Yeah, I'm looking at you Sarge!)
